MEC 2F 4th Generation – Perc
Built in the Columbia tradition of quality, advanced safety function and
durability, the MEC dry-cleaning system was developed in 1985 in response to
growing environmental regulations.
The MEC cleaning system employs technology for efficient and real reduction
of solvent concentration on garments and in the basket at cycle end. The
Multi-Solver Adsorption System, a standard MEC feature, reduces perc vapors to
nearly zero PPM before the loading door is opened.
The MEC is simple to operate. Many functions are performed automatically or
by pre-set computer programs.
Available in 30, 40, and 50 lb. Capacities the MEC prevents exposure to perc
vapors, reduces perc consumptions, lowers operating costs and meets or exceeds
all state and local environmental standards.
MEC Features:
- All machines come standard with ground guard spill retention
tank
- 2 adjustable solvent level switches
- Quick disconnect, self-sealing freon fittings
- 3 self-cleaning tanks (5 for tandem models)
